ABOUT KISS




Kiss Carson is an Australian award winning author of Time Travel romances, Fantasy romances and Paranormal romance novels and novellas. 

Kiss began writing at the tender age of 13, mainly for school friends, and to escape her mundane life. The stories she wrote as a love struck teenager are now considered Fan Fiction and - really - they are way too bad to let anyone read. Kiss regarded herself as Mrs Simon Le Bon for many, many years and even perfected her signature "just in case".

This love of words progressed over the years, and in 2008 Kiss was lucky enough to publish her first novel, Illusions of Destiny. Then came Jewels of the Sun, Calypso's Curse, Hunter's Moon, Fairview and Silent Memory, all available from the author on request as these books are now out of print.

Kiss is currently working on a six book series called In the Shadows of Angels. Lucius: Book 1, Dominic: Book 2 and Rory: Book 3, and Nicholas: Book 4 are currently available to buy on Amazon. The entire box set, including Oscar: Book 5 and Avery: Book 6 will be available for purchase in the near future.

Kiss Carson holds the Bachelor of Creative Arts, Associate Degree in Creative Writing, Cert IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Business. She is a regular editor for various online publishing houses, a sought after beta reader/critique partner, and also judges many writing competitions.

Vacation time!

So, COVID put a stop to any overseas travel we had planned. We wanted to go to Egypt and continue our tour of the Wonders of the World. We've seen the Colosseum, Great Wall, and Taj Mahal and the next attractions on our list were the Pyramid of Giza and Petra. Apparently, the pyramid at Giza isn't a modern Wonder anymore, replaced by Machu Picchu. Well, that's just another country to add to our list! The Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx are the only two Wonders of the Ancient World still standing so I guess they deserve a mention. Rome’s Colosseum, The Rose City of Petra, The Taj Mahal, The Great Wall of China, Chichen Itza, Machu Picchu and Rio's Christ the Redeemer. Back to our adventure. Something Old, Something New, Something Aussie, and Something to Chew!

 Where does one begin with a heading like that? Ok...   Something old ... This is the free read you can download when you sign up to my newsletter (which is also getting done today!). It's called Silent Memory and I wrote the first draft about 1995. Of course, it started off as a time travel and throughout the years it morphed into what it is now. The story line has always included a love triangle, and at one stage it contained very steamy love scenes which were conducive to the 90s romance theme of "I'll sex her into loving me". Happy New Year!

With a new year comes new expectations...
